TWO YEARS of watching God work in this ministry. There have been many souls saved and many lives changed. We have been able to watch this group of believers grow from salvation to service. We look forward to seeing what God is going to do in the coming years through these wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ.

6/07 We have wanted to start a work here for 2 yrs. In the last month before we left to go on furlough, we were approached twice by people who want a Baptist Church there. We helped with a Bible study until we returned from furlough. UPDATE: As of July 09 there is a national missionary who is starting a church in this city. We have provided Bibles and monetary support.

A little pueblo one hour from our home. We have started a Bible study here to teach doctrine in a home-church. The response has been great and the experience for us is a blessing.

A Peruvian-born American pastor had told me of the village where he was born and wanted me to take a look and pray about ministry opportunities there. We took the long ride into the mountains and found the pastor's old homeplace. We hope to go back in the future to set up a meeting and see how they respond to the Gospel. It is an area very strong in Catholicism and stories of local justice by gangs with masks who "take care of problems" at night. Please pray that God will guide and give us wisdom.

Jan. 07 - I was invited along with another missionary to preach for an anniversary service of a national pastor's church deep in the Andes Mountains. We were blessed to see 7 saved and 5 others make decisions regarding to Christian service. Because of other commitments, we were only able to be there for 2 days of the week long services.
